Thank you Lure. Glad at least one person found it work a laugh. I’m really not sure about these watercolours though I thought I captured his buttocks quite well.
Hahahahaa. Yes that is an excellent bottom. I think the watercolour really does look great. If you want a more intense colour you could try Designers Gouache, I could see one of your cartoons in black ink with some cadmium red gouache....
The thing I'm finding with watercolour -- and I don't know if this is what everybody finds -- is that you need to start of slowly and than many of the best effects are almost an accident that come about as you apply the stuff. Not sure it's any quicker than crosshatching though. ;)
Next time I go to see my friend Fred, I'll ask about red gouache.
Very funny too, but I think you'll find that Tim the Cheese Counter Operative did actually see something (leading me to ask where that special Italian cheese on his counter comes from)
You have me *laughing out loud* again. :-)

Keep with the watercolours. Looks brilliant.

Thanks Zeb. Will keep with them, though they slow me down a little.
ReplyDeleteI should have known about Tim at Cheese. He has a very continental way of cutting the stuff.
