Sock suspenders! I thought those had disappeared long before you were born David. Or are you older than you seem? Or maybe you're referencing much older cartoonists.
Hmm... Never noticed it before but I guess one of my cardinal sins is referencing older comedians, specifically Eric Morecambe who always wore sock suspenders when he was playing a lover. Not sure why I can't stop drawing them but nothing makes me feel better than thinking of Eric Morecambe. Don't think I've ever cried when I've heard about the death of a comedian but definitely happened the day that Eric passed away. I also think English men being erotic is inherently funny, specifically around the knee area.
